EMET2024 Special Sessions
EMET-ACNEPMD' 24: Advanced characterization of new energy photovoltaic materials and devices
Session Chair:
Yingguo Yang, Fudan University;Huanxin Ju, ULVAC-PHI Instrument Co. Ltd.
Introduction: In the 21st century, against the backdrop of increasingly severe energy and environmental problems, materials development is increasingly focused on sustainability. New energy materials and devices are an important basis for promoting the development of energy conversion and utilisation technologies. Currently, the field of new energy materials has made great progress, and new energy materials and technologies will achieve further breakthroughs in performance improvement and cost reduction, such as photovoltaic materials, bioenergy and wind energy. This special session will focus on ‘Advanced Characterisation of Novel Energy Photovoltaic Materials and Devices’, and we welcome interested students and faculty to participate in the session.
EMET-LDLMD' 24: Luminescent, Display, and Lighting Materials and Devices
Session Chair: Prof. Chunmiao Han, Heilongjiang University, China
Invited Speakers:
Ye Tao, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications
Xiaosong Cao, Shenzhen University
EMET-ESTESC' 24: Emerging Synthesis and Technology for Energy Storage and Conversion
Session Chair: Professor at the Institute for Advanced Interdisciplinary Research (University of Jinan), Ph.D. supervisor, and academic leader.
Introduction: Emerging synthesis technologies play a critical role in the development of new energy systems by addressing key challenges in efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.Innovations such as laser-assisted synthesis, chemical vapor deposition, atomic layer deposition, microwave plasma synthesis, electrochemical deposition and 3D printing are advancing the production of high-performance nanomaterials for energy storage and conversion. These technologies are driving breakthroughs in renewable energy applications, including photocatalytic green hydrogen production, carbon/nitrogen cycling, solar cells, fuel cell systems, metal-air batteries, supercapacitors, and battery systems.

Sights of Haikou
A Tropical Coastal City with Excellent Bathing Beaches and Seaside Resorts
Haikou, also known as the "Coconut City", is the capital city of Hainan Province, the strategic city of the Belt and Road. Situated in the tropics, Haikou is a coastal city featuring beautiful coastal scenery and a comfortable climate. The coastline of Haikou is 136.23 km (272.46 miles) long. Most of the coasts are vast and continuous, with fine white sand. There are many coastal swimming areas in the offshore where the water is clear and the waves are flat all year round. Haikou has evolved from a simple sightseeing city to an attractive seaside resort and business center.
